Pancha means five and Karma refers to therapy. These five therapies
are used for bio purification or detoxification of the body so they
are collectively known as Pancha Karma. The
five-detoxification/purification measures are Vamana (Emetic
Therapy), Virechana (Purgation therapy), Asthsapana Basti (Decoction
Enema Therapy), Anuvasana Basti (Oily Enema Therapy) and Nasya (Errhine
Therapy). The course will give participants a good understanding of
the treatment principles of Ayurveda and Panchakarma with the
knowledge of how it purges the body of toxins, restores the
homeostatic balance and replenishes the tissues with vitality.
Ayurveda treatment according to the individual treatment plan
developed for each guest is additional to the course.
