Gurukula School of Ayurveda & Philosophy is a service division
offered by Mayu ~ Veda. The school was established in 2007 with the
mission of providing authentic, traditional Ayurvedic and
Philosophical teachings and knowledge through a Gurukula
system of education.
Vision of Gurukula is to develop human resources with
profound knowledge and ability to apply techniques derived from
ancient Indian wisdom to address challenges faced by nation in the
field of modern health and education.
Gurukula programs will leave u with a unique educational
experience as the blending of ancient traditional Ayurvedic
knowledge with modern system of education is witnessed. The ‘Gurukula
Parampara’ (tradition) is diminishing worldwide but it is still
practiced on a rare basis in India. As we approach an era where
daily stress and anxieties are causing sadness and depression,
Gurukula has devised awareness and educational programs to help
the individuals preserve, practice and one day itself help guide
others. In this context, it becomes necessary that the youth take up
the responsibility of such a mission in the modern age. Students
will be carefully selected and teachers who are well-versed in
Shastra’s will also recognize their social responsibilities allowing
Gurukula to be the first school to be based on the ideologies
of spirituality and philosophy as applicable in the modern era.
Philosophy, Ayurveda and Yoga are taught in a traditional manner
keeping in view their relevance to the modern world. The students
are also trained to disseminate Ayurvedic and Yogic ideals as a
remedy to the maladies of the modern society. We expect our students
to shine in good nature and to develop in scientific thinking.
Teaching is reinforced by providing actual field experience to the
students. Daily routine will be practiced. Thus we endeavour to
bring about a change in the society on the basis of the eternal
principles laid down by our philosophies. Spiritual and
Philosophical guidance and growth are the emphasis in line with
maintaining a high level of standard within Gurukula.
